The fried chicken was incredibly crispy, with a crunchy coating that clings tightly to the meat. Each bite gives you the perfect combo of crispy skin and juicy chicken—absolutely delicious. It’s way better than KFC, hands down. The price is also very affordable, making it a great option to grab and enjoy at home.

Really good! Got 6 pieces leg/thigh, fried green beans(first time I had it, amazing!), mashed potatoes, fried shrimp(should of skip that and get more chicken instead)
Restaurant was clean. Traffic was low. Food was fresh and hot. Staff was excellent (thanks Julian and Stephanie!).
I placed a to go order at King Edward's Chicken. It was served hot and fresh. My fries were hot also. I can honestly say I'll be back for more when in the area. I like the unique batter the chicken has as well.
I have been going to this place since I was literally at least eight or nine years old always been a great place to go to service is always good. Tonight was the worst. It’s been from the moment I ordered which I know it was probably just busy so I understand You know a little bit of frustration probably but there is a young lady who I don’t really recognize seems newer her emotions just take over in front of the customers like when she was handing my food just seemed like she had an attitude. I don’t know what for never met the lady in my life. Also, when I called and place my order, she was very rude. really surprised how rude she was all I was doing was ordering food way I have for the last 20 years.
As a local Realtor around town, I’m always looking for spots with good food and I can get in and out quickly. In the St. Charles area, King Edward’s is that spot. It’s also my husband’s go to after bowling on Tuesdays. The chicken is excellent and good sized pieces not pigeon wings. The service is always nice. It’s small mom and pop shop not really set up for lots of eat in guest so if you’re looking for dine in, this may not be the spot.
The chicken wings were a healthy size, and seasoned and fried well. The woman at the counter was super nice and helpful. The food was pricey, compared to other chicken places, but worth it.
